Keto diet
What does mean keto ?
Sugar from
the carbohydrates in the food that we do eat, and like the most of people do
like bread, rice potatoes is the first fuel that the body use, the second one
is fat.
Keto
diet has low carbs system on it that allowed the body to switch mainly into
using fats from real food like eggs, meat, butter, oil as fuel.
Ones the
body is out of sugar, fat is converted in the liver into energy molecules
called ketones. And the diet that results in this is called ketogenic, because
it produces ketone that’s why the diet is called Keto diet. So being fueled mostly
by fats has many benefits, because it’s perfect for weight loss without going
through hunger, control your blood sugar and reverse so many health issues
The basic
things that you should avoid mainly carbohydrates and replace it with meat
fish, eggs, vegetables and natural fats like butter.
So if we
eat sugar and drink sugar or starch many times per a day that’s allowed
increasing the amount of sugar in the blood. And we do push our body to burn
sugar rather than fats.
Actually
what we are doing is storing fats constantly which lead to obesity and the Keto
diet is totally the opposite, instate of burning sugar all time we burn fat.
It a
very low carbs diet moderating on protein and replace the energy that we use to
get from sugar or carbs, now we work on getting it from fats. At this time the
muscle on our bodies can be directly fueled by fat. Even the brain will burn
fat via ketones.
If you’re
fasting our starving the stored sugar quickly runs out and the body starts producing
ketones from fat to feed the brain.
